How do you make your juice?
Cold-pressed is best! And we use one. Our Hydraulic Cold Press liberates the nutritional enzymes from the fibres of the produce and then puts them under extreme pressure. As the hydraulic press does not force air into the juice during pressing, the juice does not decay as fast, so you're left with a higher mineral content.
Do you use organic produce?
Yes. We support both local and organic farming practices. We ensure our twelve most-used ingredients (the dirty dozen) are organic. We strive to keep the same policy with other ingredients, availability permitting.
What happens to the juice after it's pressed?
Our bottled juice undergo a High Pressure Process after bottling. The juices have a longer shelf life so you can stock up with no worries of short expiration, all the while the nutrients, vitamins, and phytonutrients we rely on stay good for much longer, all the while increasing the health and safety of our product in eliminating the risk of unwanted bacterias.
How long do the juices last?
After opening, cold pressing ensures the most nutritious juice possible so you can keep it with confidence for up 72 hours.
Why don't you give all the juices at once?
We designed our delivery schedule to ensure you get the freshest juice possible – one delivery for the Three-Day Cleanse, one for the Five-Day and two for the Seven-Day.
What are the benefits of a one-day cleanse?
It's like pressing pause for a day. Your body gets 24 hours to rest and heal. It also gets mega amounts of nutrients it can absorb instantly.
Does it really matter what order I drink the juices?
Absolutely. We really thought this through. The Juice Cleanse is formulated to work at detoxifying your body in the proper order.
Which cleanse should I do?
It's really up to you. But we strongly urge you to select your duration based on your activity level and your goals. Don't jump into the deep end before you're ready. Your budget obviously plays a role as well.
What happens if I am allergic to a certain ingredient?
At this time we are unable to cater to specific allergy requirements. In the near future we will offer alternatives.

When toxins are released from your body you can experience headaches, irritability, skin eruptions, achy muscles or cold- and flu-like symptoms. With proper hydration (lots of water) and rest you can reduce or eliminate them.

Totally normal. Eat some chia seeds to help with constipation. Or you might consider going for a light walk or taking a yoga class. Perhaps consider scheduling a colonic to clean out your colon.

Opinions are divided on this question. Best to check with your OB GYN. If you are trying to get pregnant or breast feeding, it is best not to do a cleanse.

Food & Nutrition
Can I eat while on The Cleanse?
If you're a first-timer, you may find you need to. Seasoned cleansers will be fine without eating. Consider drinking juice until dinner and then having a salad with your sixth juice. In the future, we may have juice and meal programs, so stay tuned!
Am I going to feel hungry? What happens if I cheat?
Some do. Some don't. If you have the urge to eat, it will be more out of habit than a need for more nourishment. The Juice Cleanse is formulated to give you instant energy and enough calories to feel satiated. And the beauty of juice is that it is absorbed almost immediately into your body. If you absolutely positively need to cheat, try to eat raw, fresh vegetables and fruit.
Where will I get my protein?
Plants are a fantastic source of protein. Out of the 23 amino acids (the building blocks of proteins) we need to eat, only nine of them are essential meaning that we need to get them from our diet. By consuming a variety of plants, your body will be digesting protein throughout the day. Plus it is actually easier for the body to extract and absorb nutrients from liquefied fruits and vegetable than it is in their raw and cooked forms. To top it off, we added the hemp milk, chai seeds and E3Live juice to add even more amino acids to The Juice Cleanse.
Is there a lot of sugar in The Juice Cleanse juices?
Yes, there are natural sugars found in juice. They help you feel energized and refreshed after each juice. We have chosen fruits and vegetable that have less natural sugar in them but if you are someone with a pre-diabetic condition or diabetes The Juice Cleanse is not for you.
What are the benefits of juice over raw fruits and vegetables?
Instant nourishment. Quite often we don't remember to chew our food well and our saliva doesn't get a real chance to mix with the food and start to digest it. Juicing is like drinking a predigested meal and the nutrients are instantly available for use by our bodies. Tip: Chew your Juice and Drink your Food!
I have a work meeting that I can't bring my juice to. If I eat a light salad, will it totally mess it up?
Not at all. In fact you can still consider yourself on a The Juice Cleanse as you are still eating a plant-based, predominantly raw diet. However, the less you eat the less stress there will be on your digestive system. That means your body will cleanse and heal faster.
I need to chew on something. Can I chew gum during The Juice Cleanse?
Gum causes unnecessary gas and bloating. Try some raw veggies instead.
What do I do with the Chia seeds?
You can eat these as a snack or put them in the 3rd juice of the day and let them soak for 10 minutes before you consume the juice. We like to have a sip of the juice, drop the chia seeds in, and then leave the juice for 5-10 minutes.
What do I do with the Probiotic?

Is it ok to exercise while on The Juice Cleanse?
Yes! As you'll have lots of energy and a clear head, you're going to want to move around. Exercise will also help you eliminate toxins so don't be afraid to break a sweat. But listen to your body. If you feel weak, take that as a sign that you need to get some more rest - you may have more build up than you thought.
Are their times or situations one should not start The Juice Cleanse?
If you're pregnant, nursing or have a pre-existing medical condition, it's best to avoid cleansing, also if you're feeling overly stressed or overwhelmed.
